The Tree of Evil 'tattoo comission'

This  kind of an odd request that I was a bit reluctant to take on. Someone over at sub school had been begging me to draw his tattoo design for months till I finally caved. I don't necessarily agree with the message "Women and Money are the Roots of all Evil", but you know that's what he wanted. Obviously deviated from the original idea, because it was "over the top" craziness that I was having a difficult time applying it to paper. My design features a gnarly looking tree with woman basically grown into the trunk of the tree, her skin and gown take on the appearance of wood grain as she is now apart of the trunk of the tree. She clutches some $100 dollar bills that are being blown from her hand by the wind, and the roots at the base of the tree trunk and her feet spell out "Roots of Evil."

The sailor who I made this for was more than satisfied with the drawing, he'll probably be getting it tattooed on his right arm. I sold the original drawing to the sailor, made a whole whopping $10 from the whole deal.

All in all this took about 15 hours to draw from start to finish (not including breaks). This was all done in combination of cheap black ball point pen, ball point ink pen, and blue ball point pen on a piece of card board. This piece is proof that you don't need expensive/fancy art supply or expensive art software to create a master piece. Despite the fact that I didn't really want to draw this in the first place, I'm still pretty happy with the way everything turned out.
